This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application Easy Guitar Tuner & Metronome (the “App”) handles your information. We respect your privacy: the App itself does not require an account and does not ask you for personal data. To keep the App free, it displays advertising provided by Google AdMob, which collects limited data as described below.
The App’s own features do not collect personal information that identifies you. However, the App displays ads through Google AdMob, and that advertising service collects certain identifiers and device information in order to show ads. The App requires no account and contains no analytics that identify you by name.
The App uses your device microphone solely to detect the pitch of the sound being played, in real time, so it can show the musical note and tuning on screen. Audio is processed locally on your device only. Audio is never recorded, never stored, and never transmitted to us or to any third party.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App displays a consent dialog (provided by Google’s User Messaging Platform) the first time it is opened, where you can accept or decline personalized advertising. You can also limit ad personalization or reset your advertising identifier at any time from your device settings, typically under Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path may vary by device).
The App connects to the internet to: (1) request and display ads through Google AdMob, and (2) on startup, download a small public file to check whether a newer version of the App is available. The version-check request does not include personal data about you.
The App may write a local diagnostic log file in its private application storage on your device. This file stays on your device, is overwritten on each launch, and is not sent anywhere.
We do not sell your personal data. The data described in the “Advertising” section above is shared with Google (and, where applicable, its advertising partners) for the sole purpose of displaying ads in the App. We do not share your data for any other purpose.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If the App’s functionality changes, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly and the “Last updated” date above will change.
